I was just wondering...because I try so hard not to bash anyone on here. I'm not perfect; no one is. I just want to know why people are so defensive and people so easily get offended. When is it going to stop?
I want to know why I get nasty emails from REPUBLICANS bashing me for AGREEING with them.
Someone explain it to me. Please.

Politics is now a blood sport.
Who started it we will never know.
It is a case that each side thinks they are right 100% of the time and the other is wrong 100% of the time.
If you don't agree with someone on an issue you are consider dumb.
We have become in love with a 60 second sound bite that we can agree with and all information we don't agree with is wrong.
Case in point mention Fox to a liberal their normal response oh Faux news.
To a conservative you mention CNN they say the terrorist supporters network.

People, take the long view of politics. It has been a blood sport since the beginning. Hamilton and Jefferson were at each others throats. Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton for Gods sake, all over words at a dinner party.
Politics was/is/will be dirty. It wasn't all sunshine and happiness in the past nor will it be in the future. If everyone starts getting along, grab your wallets and some lube, because we're all going to get screwed.

The hatred all began with Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. Rather than expressing their views, they chose to denigrate anyone who dared to disagree with them. Limbaugh built an empire on slandering the president of the US and anyone who didn't hate the president as he did. Coulter picked up the baton with the Iraq war and called all who disagreed "traitors" "cowards" and "communist". The left got fed up and started firing back. Now we are where we are today.

In my oppinion theyre all idiots!!!
its a proven fact that humans are the number one killers os humans, so i think they should all shut up and pretend to be the civilized people they claim to be!

everybody thinks the other guy is stupid, but its the whole human race that's stupid.
dogs are going to take over the world. that or iPods. or they will unite and listen to Fleetwood Mac while they watch us flinch on the floor. so next time you yell at fluffy, just think, he is plotting against you.

two reasons
1- the party does nothing right and can only find faults in their opponents instead of working hard so they can praise themselves
2- the other party really did do something wrong
