Last time I was in Orlando I felt so sick from all the junk food. I really craved some good proper food but couldn't find any places.

I have heard good reports about Sweet Tomatoes.

Does anyone have any other recommendations. I am not too fussy on the type of food just looking for freshly prepared and moderately healthy.

Sweet Tomatoes is an excellent location for healthy eating. They are a national chain, so you can find them all over.

Also try Houlihan's in Kissimmee (located on Hwy 192 near Hwy Marker #4). They have a huge menu and most of their items are healthy options. I loved the crispy calamari salad with banana vinagrette dressing!

Disney restaurants (at the resorts - not the parks) have a ton of healthy options as well. Make reservations for any of the fabulous rest. locations inside the Disney resorts.

Good luck!

Along with everything else listed by others, you could try Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. The food is cooked right in front of your face (as long as you get a show table) so you know what does/doesn't go into what you are eating. Great experience that I suggest trying at least once (could get a bit pricey $50 for 2 people without appetizers (which aren't really needed anyway)).

Their are locations off SR 535 (across for Walt Disney World)
Kirkman RD (across form Universal Orlando)
US 192 by Arabian Nights dinner show
International Drive by Ripley's Believe it or Not

Hope this has helped some and that your vacation is better this time then last.

I'm pretty sure there's either an Uno's Pizza or a TGI Friday's nearby..I know the junk food gets so sickening after awhile. Those two resturants are a little outside the park though.
