This child needs SERIOUS help. The level of anger and rage that would have been required to do what she did is a RED RED flag that something is truly amiss with her. She needs to be institutionalized and given long term therapy to see what the issue is. At present she's like a bomb just waiting to go off and who knows where?
And yes, her parents need to be charged for no less than allowing a 10 yr old out and about with adult supervision.

The girl--and her buddies--should be taken from their parents--at least temporarily--while the parents' fitness is investigated. And the parents should be charged--though in many jurisdictions there are no laws in plaace to do so.
I'm not too concerned with "punishment" for the children, per se (not that they should be let of the hook--that's the WORST thing you could do--for their sakes). But this is clearly beyond simple misbehavior--these children clearly need to be under the caare of a psychiatirist. They nust be held accountable--but its going to take serious therapy, not just punishment, to undo the kind of damage that leads to this kind of behavior.

Serious rehab -if possible . I mixed this story up with a classroom prank - and initially commented on that instead . This indicates the girl may be being bullied or abused at home ..or has serious mental problems that can not be cured .

im not even finding out what its about
parents //child go straight to jail ,proove you can make nice to get out
nothing happens in isolation the child has been formed in a dangerous situastion the parents are cause and solution
im not going to find the dirt on anty ten year old this needs experts to fix the real problem
the root that grew the fruit.

In my own opinion, granting that the story is true, she should be sent to third-world country like Bangladesh or Guatemala, and be exposed to criminal elements worse than her... so that she would know how painful it is to be physically harmed.

I must say it is very disturbing...I think her parents NOT around or just choose to neglect....
I don't know if you can punish a 10 years old... what can you do?

I would bet money she is Black and overweight; lives at her Grandmothers house cause Mom is to busy partying; doesn't know (or care) who her Daddy is; does drugs and has already had sex. Any takers?

If I had my way, I'd have people do to her what she did to that woman. Since there's no way that that would ever happen, I would say send her to those places for out-of-control kids like on that Juives show on MTV.
