not in the anime or manga, in the manga he is 15 and has like joined forces with orchimaru

He does NOT die in any of the episodes, including episodes 150-200. Those just don't include them because they are fillers.
And like those above have mentioned, he doesn't die in the manga, either.

technically he does die, so he can go into stage 2 of the curse....but you're like re-born or somthin like that if u survive the near death thing....
