I think they are scared to show themselves to the world me i hide from nobody.What i say i don;'t care becuase it's the truth and i'll back it up.Peace

That just means they are a fan of that person, and not everyone that uses a picture of someone famous as their DP is a "lonely wannabe."

sometimes i make my avatar resemble my fave band member/singer, but because either i'm bored or i want people to know i like this person, not because i'm a wannabe.

Maybe they are just honoring their favorite entertainer. Or I have seen people use aviators of actresses because they thought they looked like them.

depends who they use, some are, but some of them just wanna show they respect or idolize that person, and some think it makes them a bigger fan than all the others, but not so much about them wanting to be them
