Through rough times

Although it's quite a statement
Well, it happens to be true
The best friend I have ever had
I'm glad to say, is you.

Some people have so many friends

Very well writen and focused as your were describing your friendship regarding your friend. Most likely it will touch her deeply and it will be even better knowing it came from you and not copied from elsewhere. Very good.
