From what I have seen, most people that play ditzy characters on TV and in movies are more intelligent and articulate in real life than many of the people who play serious characters. Likewise, many that play serious roles don't seem to be that way in real life.
Christina Applegate played Kelly Bundy, and quite frankly the whole family was ditzy, not just Kelly. However, Christina has been interviewed in on occasion, and seems to be a very intelligent woman (I did not know she had a business degree - learn something new every day).
Katie Sagal (Mom Bundy) is also very smart and has played in both silly and serious roles, and given great interviews.
On the other hand, Farrah Fawcett has played various serious roles, including The Burning Bed and Extremities. However, every interview I have seen with her makes her look like she doesn't have a clue. I admire her skills as an actress, but I would much prefer to have a conversation with any other "Angel".

Don't believe all that you see on tv... Kelli Bundy in real life has a Masters Degree in Business... Not ALL blondes are dumb, majority of them are bleach/ peroxide jobs anyway... TRUE BLONDES are far and few between...

Actually no... Just about all of the blonds in sit-coms are very bright people. It takes smarts to act stupid...
