After watching the Gators & Cats play Sat. night I was left wondering. Sure neither team played very well but Florida was pretty much shut down by the Cats. UK beat themselves. What do you think?

I think Kentucky played a fantastic game after the opening minutes but I believe Florids is definitely for real and deserves to be #1. I think Kentucky is underrated and will cause a great stir in the tournament. They must play consistently, however,and do much better than they did in the opening minutes.

Neither. I think Kentucky just matched well with Florida in the second half, and Florida just got too comfortable. Remember, Florida had a 15+ lead, and this game wasn't even gonna be close. I think Florida is in the top 3, and Kentucky is maybe a little better than #20 but not much more.

I wouldn't say that Florida is overrated in the sense that they are "no good." But I would say that they are overrated in the sense that they are not as definitive a Number One as some people think. If you look at their schedule, outside of the SEC they have not played a lot of tough games, and those that they have played they have lost (Florida State and Kansas). Their current status where they are perceived as invincible is on the basis of how they crushed Ohio State and the fact that they are defending National Champions. However, Oden was in foul trouble most of that game and one game does not make a Championship. The whole SEC is overrated and that inflates how Florida is viewed as almost all of their big wins are over SEC teams.
The fact that they lost to Florida State and Kansas, and almost lost to Kentucky, proves that while they are very good, they are not heads and tails above the other top contenders.

Neither! The Gators have the best 2 punch with Noah and Horford. They have great guards in taurene greene and lee humphrey!!! And Brewer is a great player all around! I dont think Kentucky is underrated. They played a good game but records, standings, and rankings mean nothing in rivalry games. A lot of those kids go to the school for those specific games. They put their whole heart in rivarly games and anything can happen!

I love that the person above me just said KY was out of there league. They lost by THREE points and there 86% free throw shooter shot under 50%. Best in the conference. KY is greatly underrated and is a top 10 team.

Florida is a very good b-ball team. They are definately not over rated. Kentucky was out of their league.

florida is a really good physical basketball teams and kentucky is one of those teams that will beat a really good team and then lose to a bad team in the same conference as them
