I need a nokia with long battery life, play mp3 ringtones, no wap or any other crap that uses the battery power.

Nokia 6230i will give you very long battery life and also plays MP3 ringtones - it has a 1.3megapixel camera and a RS-MMC card slot for putting a memory card if required to hold MP3 music and tones
you will be surprised how cheap these are!!

I think you'd be looking for a second-hand phone, as all mobiles now have all the features you don't want. Find a friend or a website that sells old mobiles, & buy from them.

i would definately recommend the nokia 6233.
a great all round handset and its wonderfully uncomplicated.
free on most contracts and around £150 on pay as you go.
