The day that evil, corrupt, inept moron leaves office, I'm taking the day off of work and going out to party. However, there will be sadness as well, knowing the damage he caused to our great nation will take years to repair, if we can overcome it at all.
What's even more sad is that most politicians from the 2 main parties are bought and sold by corporations, special interests, lobbyists, and the wealthy elite. So although Dubya is, by far, the worst we've had in a long, long, long time, the chances of getting someone in office that actually represents the best interest of the people, instead of the almighty dollar, is slim to none.

No, I am not going to party. FYI, if Hilary Clinton gets elected, or anyone equally bad or stupid, the USA will be attacked and swarmed with terrorists. George Bush is doing a good job of keeping terrorists out. There are some things I admit he could do better at (such at keeping illegal immigrants OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!!!) but he is doing a better job than John Kerry could ever do. Not only has John kerry slipped up several times in his speeches and insulted various people (such as the troops in Iraq) but he looks like he has had plastic surgery one to many times. The only thing I am going to be celebrating is a victory of another Republican in the White House. So, actually, yes--I will be having a party--A party to celebrate the entrance of another Republican!!

With a Democratic House and Congress I think things will balance out better than they would have the old way. We'll be fine until the next Presidential election. Hopefully people will realize someday that they are neither Republican or Democrat and we are all a bunch of Libertarian's. Problem is nobody knows about the party so they haven't been able to vote for it.
Once again our narrow simplistic education system has drowned us into believing there are 2 ways of doing things, the Left and the Right.

I am sure our enemies will party like it 1999. They will be glad to have Bush off their backs. They know the Democrats won't persue them militarily, since the Democrats view terrorism as a law enforcement issue. I predict more attacks on the US mainland after Bush leaves office.

I am impressed that you took the time to count that up! I think we will all survive nicely, and the only party I am going to have in 707 days is the party to celebrate another Republican in the white house.

I will survive,I will survive. Famous song.!!
We are contracted techs working for the Civil Service. We have bosses from the Civil Service.
We have a saying " don't criticize your boss , as he could be replaced with something worse!!!.
You only get what you vote for.!! If you vote for politicians, you only encourage them and they multiply by thousands.

Well, we're going to get it anyway regardless of who is President - those wacky terrorist Palestinians hate us - we're going to get whalloped it's just a matter of time and that's regardless of who is President - although they might have an easier time of it with the Dems in change - since they error on the side of trusting and going along with terrorists - remember the Oslo agreement ha ha ha!
