Normally I'd say that I don't like those genres, but...
More artists are coming out in the spot light that are really talented.
Like The Roots, John Legend, India Arie, Common, Corinne Baily Rae, Talib Kweli...etc.
As long as artists like that are still around, then I'll continue to listen to it.
But if you're talking about artists like Ludacris, TI, or Rhianna... then nah.

I like those types of music, but I didn't like how you phrased the question and added on the "Not cool, guys" for a few reasons. It degrades some peoples' opinions and it's annoying. But I'm fine with Rap.

i like all kinds of music, people shouldn't close themselves up to things cause they miss out on really great stuff. music is art, and so that includes rap, r&b, and hip hop.
...no reggeaton, lol. i can't stand that stuff!

i still like it..but some artists aren't really making more good songs that will last.
