i just bought battlefield 2 brand new.i installed it,then i was going to play it,but after i double click on it or try to get it to run it goes to the battlefield 2 logo at the beginning and then the screen goes black like its loading.but after the screen turns black it stays like that for about five seconds but then goes back to the home computer screen.WHATS THE MATTER????

sounds like your RAM or graphics card. u need a better one

I used to have a problem resembling that with battlefield 2142. If you are running windows XP or later try creating a new User and using that to play Battlefield on. I'm not sure why it works but it does. Also try reinstalling the game. EA does have a support sight, If neither of the above helps contact them.

I would do a few things.
1. Make sure your graphics card is compatible with the game by going to ea.com and asking them
2;. Clean out your cache look in Explorer and clean out the items at
My Documents/Battlefields/Bf2/cache
Find out what kind of video card you have as all of them are not compatible.
