Actually, it is possible to adopt an adult. It's easier to adopt an adult than it is a child, since the adult is able to consent to the adoption. With a child, a homestudy needs to be completed.

As with any adoption, consult an attorney to make sure everything is completed properly.

If you mean adoption putting the name of your "parents" on the birth certificate I am sure you can, If the person is handicapped then yes, because you will be the legal guardian of the person.

No; you cannot adopt an adult, unless they are mentally or physically challenged and cannot fend for or take care of themselves.

apopt no i live in VA live with of course shelter feed and cater and be "legal guardian" no but they can sign everything alone
