Def Not( Fact) it is classed as international and customs there will check it. I used to work at an airport.

Even as an EU citizen, you'll need a valid UK passport to board a plane on a non domestic flight in the UK and to present to customs at Prague on arrival.

Possibly if you are lucky. In theory you can but in practice it will be a rigmarole of immense proportions if you attempt it. It would be MUCH easier to have a passport with you.
Enjoy Prague - it is one of the best places in the whole world. I love it loads.

Even if you drive the whole way, Czech is part of the EU, but not part of Schengen agreement until later this year. I'd strongly recommend you get a passport.
