No, but you can't get as nice of a cut, because they'll be more square whereas rounder fingernails look better. Also, sometimes they bend the nails up at the edges, which could cause discomfort.

I would say that it is easier and faster with a toenail clipper. While your going to get a more rounded or better cut with fingernail clippers i don't really think it matters that much. Plus it is a lot easier and faster.

No, it shouldn't hurt you at all.

And as long as you're not sharing your clippers with anyone else, there should be no risk of getting any kind of fungus.


If the clippers seem too big, just cut in from one side, and then from the other so that it meets in the middle. :)

Doesn't matter.... the fingernail clipper is just smaller to fit your fingers. IT wouldn't effect anything either way.

Could be... beware the dreaded foot fungus! At least scald them first, the clippers that is, not the fingers. :)

no, the only difference is the size. so as long as you're using them correctly it doesn't matter
