they're just boots, after all. i mean, as long as they aren't the pink ones, they are all good by me. and they're incredibly comfortable! can anyone give me a good reason as to why some people dislike uggs so much?

so...i'm thinking...it would be nice to hear from people who actually think they're ugly. i got two pretty good responses from the guys. not exactly the best reasons, but better than the other answers. i appreciate all the input, though!

One of the sexiest parts of a woman are her ankles and feet. When they are covered they are already less attractive. Secondly, Uggs are boots that tend to make a womans feet look way bigger than they actually are. Especially in brown they look like the feet of Sasquatch!

Uggs, personally, are not my style. The boots would be fine if jeans were warm covering the leg. However, the tucking of jeans into Uggs are not as flattering as some of their owners as they would like to believe. On some women, not all, the pants tucked into the boot form cankles. Also, skirts and boots do not mix. If if is necessary to wear warm boots, it is certainly not skirt weather and please, keep the patterned leggings to yourself.

I don't find them attractive...I don't understand the draw of them, especially given their price tag. I think the most ridiculous sighting of them was at a Notre dame football game...some little tiny fake tanned blonde was wearing ugly uggs with a too short denim skirt and t-shirt...NOT attractive whatsoever.

I don't know, but I find them extremely unfashionable. If you in it for something comfortable and not the style, go to Wal*Mart and pick up a pair just like them for 5 bucks.
I hate it when people wear their flare jeans tucked into them, it makes the jeans look all weird, it's crazy.
And come on, Ugg, it's just setting you up to yell Uggggg-ly.

Uggs... ugly???? I have never heard someone say that! Maybe it's just because i'm in the northeast but EVERY GIRL up here wears them. seriously! Like all different ages, even baby uggs! they are sooo warm, comfy and they go with a lot of winter outfits. i guess it just depends on where you are that makes them popular or useful, but here everyone loves them!

they went out of style a year ago, so why does it matter.
But as long as they don't have real fur in them, I think they're okay. Maybe people don't like them because they seem kind of big and bulky.

for sure they are basically the note "uggs" rhythm with note "gruesome". i imagine people placed on those boots in trouble-free terms to keep their ft warmth. yet when it wasn't it, no one does no longer placed on those suede boots.

I think they are very ugly. They have absolutely no shape. And, no matter who wears them, it makes them look like a slob. Oh... it also looks like you're trying to disguise fat feet.

I think its just a matter of preferance.Personally I love uggs and have a bit of a collection.I also love their slippers as well
