Just to elaborate

Click RUN, and type cmd.exe and press enter.
Or press Windows Key + R.
Or write a new bat saying "command.com"

Then when your in, type

ping [website]

I don't get what you mean but are you trying to say that when you go to a certain website....invalid ip pops-up?....maybe because you need a password to get in or your computer doesn't have access to that website...be more specific

The website server has probably crashed. Open the DOS Prompt, and ping the IP address.
