Which follower of Christ in the bible celebrated Valentines Day as previously stated by a neo-con in this post?

Then wyh did a previous hard righter say that it was a Christian Holiday??? Asking if "liberals" were going to celebrate it???

you won't find Lupercalia in the bible.. it is a Pagan holiday after all

Any of the saints thought to be at the origin of the Valentines day celebration were active after the Bible was written.
The only reason to say that it is of biblical origin is because of ignorance, and the reference to 'liberals' celebrating it is because some of the neocons can't get it through their heads that you can be a churchgoer and a religious person and still be a 'liberal'.

That is historically impossible, since St Valentine was born more than a century after the last of the Twelve Disciples died.

While I am not familiar with the term "neo-christian", I do know that there is no reference to Valentine's Day in the Bible.

How absolutely silly!

I guess you'll have to wait for that one person to come and answer. Or you could just follow the usual liberal route and make a mass generalization.

It isn't in the Bible. Valentine's Day is only a marketing ploy.
