I assume there is 5 classes difference. Like more literature I suppose in major?

One is for someone who wants to have working knowledge of a particular language (minor)...the other is one who wants to use that particular language in a profession such as teaching or translating (major).

A minor is typically 18 to 20 hours or roughly Spanish I, II, III, IV, and then 2 addtional Spanish courses which could be literature, culture, conversation, or writing depending on which school you attend.

A major can have anywhere between 32-40 hours of specific Spanish courses which include the ones listed above as well as the remaining hours filled with Mexican, Spanish, etc. culture courses, literature, conversation, reading, composition, and syntax. Hope that helps.
