Mt. Vesuvius is a Composite volcano (there is no e on the end of "volcano") and a stratovolcano is a tall, conical volcano composed of many layers of hardened lava, tephra, and volcanic ash. These volcanoes are characterised by a steep profile and periodic, explosive eruptions. The lava that flows from them is highly viscous, and cools and hardens before spreading very far.

Hey

Stratovolcano is a cone-shaped volcano built from alternating layers of pyroclastics and viscous andesitic lava. Stratovolcanos tend to be very large and steep.

Mt Vesuvius is actually a Stratovolcano. Out of the 3 you have mentioned it would be a Composite.

Good Luck with your report and get researching!!
