Hayden or Caleb?

Does Caleb sound like a cereal bar? I never thought of that. Would the kids pick up on that and tease him for it? This is a five year old little boy who we might adopt who has a foreign name that kind of leads into one of those names.

They are both really popular so I don't think he'll be made of for either of the names.

Since he is 5 why don't you ask him which name he prefers?

I like them both! SD

Both are cute. Hayden is more popular.....there are lost of kids between the ages of 0 and 4 named Hayden Caleb is from the Bible........I don't think it sounds like food. What about a compromise to Cayden....or ask him which he likes (if he is old enough) Hope this helps.

Caleb an no, kids will not make fun of him unless they knew better. It does mean "dog" but Caleb was brave Biblical hero in the Old Testament. In my opinion, Hayden sounds a bit feminine.

Hayden - nothing against Caleb I just prefer Hayden... I think Hayden is more popular than Caleb though so I suppose it depends on how many Hayden's (or Caleb's) you want your son to know...
