I had a miscarriage at 4-5 weeks, we weren't sure. The doctor believes it was due to low progesterone. One week after my m/c my doctor said my hcg level was 79. Earlier and then later that week I had unprotected sex w/ my husband. Now I am spotting like the last time I was pregnant. My doctor took my blood again today, but I wont have the results for a few days. I am nervous, could I have gotten pregnant again so soon with hcg still left in my system. Could the level of 79 hcg left my system within the first of the week, and then I got pregnant at the end? Thanks for any help.

You can not get pregnant unless your hcg levels are under 5. But it is very possible that you hcg levels dropped from 79 to under 5 within a week. I doubt that you ovulated by then though.

Without going into the hcg level part of it, I would say that YES, you can be pregnant.
I also had a m/c at 5 weeks. Never got the next period though because I got pregnant again right away.. keep your hopes up

i imagine you may want to attempt again yet supply it a minimum of yet another week. Its in uncomplicated words been 4 weeks and prefer they reported it may take 4-6 weeks so i imagine you may want to attend. I had a miscarriage in september and four weeks later i examined and were given a adverse i waited yet another 2 weeks (so 6 weeks after the m/c) and seeing as my era nevertheless hadnt arrived i took a try and it got here up effective which change right into a marvel as i wasnt even attempting i even advised my better half no sex after I knew i change into ovulating because i needed to attend some months in spite of the undeniable fact that it nevertheless surpassed off and the following i'm as we talk at 11 weeks 2 days pregnant. so its very a threat. so yeah take yet another try in a minimum of a week from now if era nevertheless doesnt come wait yet another week and if by potential of 6 weeks no era comes then try again. sturdy success hunni and sorry about your loss x
