I would do take away or a simple supper. Then simply let things flow as they will.

Just have a romantic night at home... Cook something at home for her or order out. Watch a nice romantic movie and have nice music playing over dinner. Then give her the gift. Sounds like a good night to me!

Do areally romantic dinner in doors, with candles and romantic music and flowers, i'd definitely prefer that than eating out, a lot more time, effort and thought has gone into that
