As you get heavier, your feet enlarge to support the weight. By the end of the pregnancy your feet could be quite large, depending on how stretchy they are. In China, in the ancient times, women often had their feet bound with cloth, even from an early age, to inhibit growth because small feet were considered attractive. By sticking to one shoe size, you can use the same technique to prevent your feet from enlarging permanently, but this is not recommended as you can also get some bone and joint problems. If you have problems with balance, this could be due to a problem with the big toe, and you should consult your doctor.

i think of that's a mix of issues. i began out out wearing length 6 and that i had a slender foot. via fact the years more desirable i began out gaining weight. After having toddlers and basically gaining little via little. I certainly have a much wider foot now in spite of each and every little thing those years, and if it weren't for my feet chronically swelling, i'd probable nonetheless be wearing a 7 and a million/2. yet I positioned on an 8 or 9 in some producers now. i've got given alot of footwear away that I wore even final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. and those have been 8's, yet greater slender. i would be sure why feet will seem greater advantageous, if there is water buildup to cause them to fatter. As mine are growing to be to be. yet i've got not got faith that your bones improve any greater. it is your ears that get greater advantageous and your nostril or nostrils via the years. I had to stay to adventure that, to have faith what i'd been informed as a youthful woman.

Fairly normal & from what I experienced they seem to go back to normal afterward. (Although I am sure some women will agrue that) By my delivery I had no shoes that fit, I had to wear really streachy slippers & socks, even to the hospital because nothing fit. After a few weeks I was able to fit right back into my size 7.5 shoes.
So for now don't worry, just get a really comfy pair of slipper like slip-on shoes for indoors & out, that will hold you over until after you have the baby. But, just think if your feet don't ever shrink back you have an excuse to go shoe shopping!!!!

I'm 9 mo's and I've also gone up one size. I'm told that they may stay 1/2 size or 1 size larger forever - but that it only with the 1st child. A lot of it is due to water retention/swelling - which will go away right after delivery - and the doc assured me it's normal.

I was a 7 1/2 until after I had my first child almost three years ago. I now wear an 8. It's funny how that happens, but I know it does.

Count yourself lucky...my feet both brew, but one grew much longer with each pregnancy than the other did. Now with three kids, one foot is visibly much larger than the other!

No, this will not go away. Your feet grow as a means to give you extra balance while pregnant and carrying around your little one.

unfortunately, this happened to me with both of my pregnancies. The first time my feet stayed the same size after I had my son, and this time I am hoping that they WILL go down!!! (I'm still pregnant)
