I have had more than a few dreams in my life that have come to pass. I recently dreamed that my grandmother came to me and told me she would die in august of 2006 (this dream occured in January of 2006). She passed on August 13, 2006 (unexpectedly). I have had several other, including a dream about a tall building exploding the night before september 11, and i had a dream i was drowning in a lake three days before a friend of mine died in a drowning accident in a completely other state. I had a dream last night that there was a horrible meteor shower, and planes were crashing all over the city. People were dying, and you could see these huge fire balls falling toward earth. Now, my question is, based on things i have dreamed about before......should i take this seriously? Or do you think it is a symbolic dream of some other meaning?
I have no date for when this will happen. I also looked online and didn't find anything similar. If anyone finds anything, let me know.

It is a difficult position to be in. I've been there myself. I often dream of floods, earthquakes and similar things, only to read about them in the paper the following day or see them on the news 2 days later. I dreamed about the name and face of the woman my first husband would leave me for -- 13 years before we got married. The point is that unless it is something to do DIRECTLY and ONLY with you -- there is nothing that you can do anyway, so there is no reason to try to figure out whether or not it is prophetic. If this IS a real prophecy -- what can you actually DO about it anyway? You can't prevent it from happening, you can't convince anyone else that it will happen so they will do something about it. So, keep journals and logs if you want, try to use the information for your own growth -- but don't sweat whether it is REAL or not. Just take what you can from the experience.

This seems very weird to me, but I had a dream last night about the end of the world that is a little similar to yours. There were fires and people dying, and something in the sky (like meteors or astroids) that people were trying to destroy but couldn't. Then everyone was yelling, "It's over! They can't stop it!" And I remember standing looking up at the sky, and this huge white light came over everything, and it went dark. The funny thing is, I could almost feel the impact of everything in my dream, and it felt as though my soul was escaping. Very weird, I know, but this is what I felt. I was in darkness for a few seconds, then Jesus appeared to me. He said nothing, but just looked at me. Then I woke up suddenly. Today I have been really tired, like a truck hit me. This dream was scary to me because I have NEVER dreamt of anything remotely close to this. I apologize if it sounds a little crazy, it even shocked me. I just thought it related somewhat to your dream.

Well, anything is possible... Is it symbolic? That's for you to answer. You should examine things that happened to you in that period of time, what were your concerns, things like that and try to connect them with that dream. I guess if someone has prophetic dreams it doesn't mean that all your dreams are like that. So maybe that's one of those dreams that are expressing your subconscious. I sure hope it does :) Anyway it's important to learn how to deal with your dreams and you can do that by trying to know yourself, your true desires, concerns etc. and than you will understand your dreams as well. so, good luck:)
