There are loads of good restaurants too many to list & also depending on what part of the city you are based, generally you know by the look of them weither the food will be nice, check out the menus before you head in cause some of them are really pricey, ask are your hotel lobby for some recommendations

YES!

My cousin is a Dublin chef and he has sent me all over Howth enjoying great seafood. King Strik (SP) be prepared to drop 100 Euros/person. My favorite place is the Waterside, just down the wharf, the seafood crapes are very good. Lotsa Pasta, also excellent, but it is tiny and fills quickly. There is another place the Blue Something? near the C*ck Tavern that is supposed to be good, but I can't personally vouch for the quality. Also "The Bloody Stream" a beef place under the Howth Dart station is also supposed to be decent, but with all the great fish who craves beef?.

Don't laugh but I had a good fry once at a place called Kennedy's near Pearce Station. You can also often find fruit, sandwiches, yogert etc to go along Clare St. if you are in a hurry. (be sure to try Irish yogert, yummy!)

I'd be suspicious of many places on Grafton, too American, too fried. Yes, Irish cooking the brunt of many jokes is really some of the best in the world. You just have to know where to look.

Loads but eating out in Dublin is not cheap, so be warned! I like Captain America's or TGI Friday's in Grafton street if you want American food.
In Temple Bar consider ThunderRoad Cafe (where they've great music and let you dance on the chairs!) Hard Rock cafe still sticking with the American. Luigi Malone's is a grrreat Italian place too. So many, depends on your taste buds. Best bet - stroll around Temple Bar and look at all the Menus outside. Great entertainment on the streets and you check out which pub you want to head to after food.

Eliza Blue in Temple Bar is lovely, as is Templars Bistro in Clontarf Castle and in Malahide there are two lovely places, Cruzzo's which looks very impressive and modern and the food is fab but my absolute favourite is Bon Appetit which is an amazing place and I had the best meal ever there.

Don't go near Temple Bar unless you want horrid food at inflated prices.

Depending on whether your budget can take it, Chapter One is worth a visit.

This is a great website, I used it to find a decent restaurant for a big dinner http://www.adlib.ie/QuickGuide.asp?CN=DS&recid=1

It gives a price rating as well as a quality rating.
