We want a unique name for our brand new baby girl. What do you think about Fatima? We'll call her Fati for short. That's especially appropriate since she was 10 pounds at birth, TWICE as much as the other baby in the hospital nursery.

Why'd you type this question twice?

That's a bad name, and you know it! Think of how much teasing she'll be put through, especially if she's overweight as she gets older. Just be happy you have a beautiful baby girl to love and get over her weight. My brother Andrew was nearly ten pounds at birth and he turned out just fine without a name like 'Fatima'. Jerk.

Ok, I already answered, I don't think Fatima is right, just because when she's older, she'll hate to hear that her parents thought of it because she was a 10-pounder. If she stays heavy, she'll be teased, and if you call her fati, she'll think she's fat.

How about Fiona? I think that would look nice. Maxine is cute too. Millie is perfect.

Congratulations on your new daughter and good luck!!

We hang out with two different couples that just had their first babies and their names are Overholser and Ohnheiser (no- i am not making that one up)....the Ohns dad wanted to go with Rufus and she wouldnt let him-thank god...they settled with grady and the overs got an ethan.........im just thankful that we are Jones's....my son was 10 lbs 8 oz and I just named him a normal name, Dawson, the stigma of fatty would be terrible and the bigness she will grow out of....how bout Delaney?

Not necessarily appropriate - do you know Fatty Arbuckle's history? And the fact he detested his name. I would spare the poor tot that particular moniker
