I need to buy a set of medium metal accoustic guitar strings, and I haven't purchased any for a while. So my Question is what are the best quility and sounding accoustic strings available, as I want to make sure I don't buy and dead sounding crap.

Thank you

Ok i work in a music shop and sell guitar strings all day long. Try Martin phosphor bronze medium gauge - they would be my suggestion to you. They give a brighter tone than the normal Martin strings. They retail for around £6. If you want long lasting strings, try Elixir which are coated with Gore Tex to stop oil from your fingers corroding the strings and they give a bright tone too.
