if a rumour going on the organisation how would you solve the problem as an employee, what would you domif you heard a rumour

First of all, as an employee, you should never spread a rumor about the organization.

Second, if you trust someone in your upper management, you may take the rumor to them. "I heard x about this company. I just thought you would like to know the rumors going around."

There was a rumor going around about a friend at work so I started a rumor that the ORIGINAL rumor was a mistake. It worked great and since the "new" rumor didn't say anything about the person who started the first rumor it didn't hurt anyone..they both just basically got dropped.

I would investigate who is spreading the rumor and then anonymously complain to the gossip's supervisor
