Unfortunately I don't meet many self respecting British parents and as such this week have been exposed to the likes of;

Karah-mia (not even Cara-mia), this makes me cringe.

Jessie - yes for a boy. Life's hard enough.

Leslie - For a boy. Forgivable, but why.

Storm, Rio (girl and boy!), Starr 60s throwbacks I guess. Great stage names, but if they grew up to be a judge?

Oh and Tracie for a boy. (thanks chip2001 just reminded me)

And of course all the traditional and new age Chav names aplenty.

(sorry a bit off topic)

Male - Bud, Wal, Chuck, Hal.
Female - Any hyphenated name, especially ones that start Mary- (Mary-Lou, Mary-Jane, Mary-Beth), or Katie (Katie-Jo, Katie-Ann)

And why do Americans give girls names to their boys - eg, Jessie, Trace?
