Where is the rest of the 176.59 GB? What is going on? This PC is only a month old and i uninstalled the few programs i had installed hoping i would free some space. The pie chart shows only 10MB left? What the hell is this? The PC is a packard bell pentium D.

Your hard disk space is most likely partitioned into two or more logical drives. I suspect you have a very large D: drive sitting there unused.

go to the packard bell website and check out the support page
or call the 1-800 number that should be available on the packing or on a sticker on the computer

Yes, check under "My Computer" and see if you've got another hard disk volume. Chances are most of the 178gb of space wasn't assigned to the C: drive.
