They want to. There is no start date for the movie, though. They have been saying for about four years now that they will make another movie, but we have yet to see any evience of this. Apparently, there isn't even a script that has been written. They do want to make one, though. They seem to have a few ideas on what it should be about, they are thinking that they'll make it like one big X-Files case--a monster of the week type thing. If you google it, there isn't much that you can come up with, since there is so little info about it on the internet. I hope that this helps. I wish that they'd hurry up and make the movie already, I've been itching to see some X-Files action for a while. Yet, there is none...yet. Hopefully, they will make a script soon and start the filming!
***The one thing that I know for sure is that Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have both definitely agreed to be in it--and will be, as far as I'm concerned. It just isn't X-files without them. There aren't really any details about any other characters that they will "definitely" put in there.
