It can sometimes take days for me to be able to build up the nerve to ask. Often times it is too late when I do.

Really really hard time. I don't think it's a matter of pride. I don't want to bring my friends into the trouble I'm in. Why should they lose out?

ya. kind of. the thing is i like to work on my own and accomplish on my own. i've never been one to need or want helps. i'm not much of a team player, more of an individual deal.
