i was thinking, what if i let some gecko's free
will they eat the roaches and rid my problem?
im thinking 3 loose geckos

one in the bathroom and one floater
i also thought i would get all the same sex for no mating

In the long run it would be cheaper and easier to call in an expert HUMAN to rid them.

I was a contractor that worked in rental properties. Needless to say I learned a lot about roaches. If you live in an apartment/duplex or multi family facility the entire building needs to be exterminated. Contrary to popular belief roaches need water more than they need "food". Try to get rid of as much clutter as possible, boxes, plastic bags etc so the spray can penetrate. If you are a renter the landlord is responsible by law to have your home exterminated. Document take pictures to plead your case, Also be sure to get rid of your vacuum cleaner bags after vacuuming. A female roach will drop her egg sac if she feels threatened and that is what you vacuum up.

I had a good chuckle over the geckos. That sounds like a good male solution. Probably not the best solution but at least I'd think geckos would beat the heck out of having roaches.

Yikes, roaches....very, very difficult to rid yourself of them, especially if you are living in an apartment complex....if you spray, they go next door and come back.....you must keep ALL food covered and off countertops. You can purchase roach sprays but you have to leave the house for 4-5 hours after leaving the bomb off, pets must be removed during that time as well. Good Luck these pests are likely to be around for a while. Take out your trash every day. Your cleaning habits MUST be topnotch during this time!

not sure about the gecko's but borax soap booster works great . Sprinkle it behind fridge or around counter they will eat this and die. It's cheap too and works. sweep it up about once a week and put fresh down until gone.

the dog didn't bring in roaches, you better check for a water leak, or a really messy neighbor.... call an exterminator...

I don't believe they work like upstairs maids, downstairs maids and in between floors maids. Maids are also easy to sex so they don't breed in the butlers pantery.
I really pray this a joke and not a serious question.

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them.

If you dump a gallon of bleach down each drain it will kill the bacteria they are feeding on and they will quit coming up your drains.
