why can't black people say "guitar", they say "guee-tar"

seriously, ask any black person to say "guitar", and they will probably say "guee-tar"

This also holds true for the word "jewelry". They say "jewry"

um excuse me? When i talk i say jewelry, and i know how to pronounce guitar. Educated black people do not talk like that so please dont say all. I went to college and grad school and have never said a distorted word in my life. Do not stereotype please. Address the commonfolk with your petty questions, not every black person.

I've never paid to much attention how some people with accents talk I think it has to do with where they were brought up.

Like here in Maine, some people have that annoying accent where instead of saying "Jessica" they say "Jessicker". Arrrr.
