Well, it sounds as if you call anybody a hater just because they give a thumbs down to a question or answer. My goodness, I've seen some posts that deserved a lot more than a thumbs down LOL. But for the most part, I don't think that "thumbs" system has much meaning because there is no way to evaluate the sincerity of the person doing it. Somebody could ask a really good question, or give a magnificent answer to one, and still get a thumbs down because that particular person just wanted to be a real "snot". You don't even have to give a reason, just click on a spot on your screen. I would prefer a system whereby, if you thought a question had special merit, or an answer was really outstanding, anybody could give it points. If a person never got any "merit points" for any question or answer he posted, well, everybody could see that, and presumably it would speak for itself. It might even become a learning experience and make that person change the whole way he presented himself
