Most Biblical angels are male, and the word for angel is masculine-ish. Is there a special word for a female angel, even one that is not used (e.g. hero - heroine, actor - actress, smurf - smurfette, angel - ???)? Thanks!

Okay - I said most since I'm sure I couldn't list every single angel occurance. But that really wasn't my question. There's no word Goddess in the Bible either, but that word exists.

Yes.

In Arabic, they are called benad hasche.

See Zechariah, 5:9.

I don't know a collective term, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

No mention of a female angel at all. Infact, Jesus says when we get to heaven we will be like the angels, neither marrying nor given in marriage. So it sounds like angels don't have any sexual orientation?

Not most all. The Bible never refers to a female angel.
