i put new disc and pads on the front. now the mechanics say i need to change the rear. i think its a control arm or something. anyone have this problem or anything close to it?

check your rotors...they could need to be resurfaced or replaced if you have a vibration.

You may have other problems with the front end. How about the tie rod ends, ball joints, etc? Did the mechanic find any other worn parts on the front? Did he look?? The rear brakes may need to be replaced, but I doubt it would give you as much vibration as the front.

If its 4 wheel disc brakes then u do need rear rotors and pads.

rear rotor is warped,,try having it turned or cut before replacing,will save you money
