I live in San Jose and there seems to be a stereotype about SJSU that it's not a good school because anyone can be accepted. Almost everyone has the mindset to go to a UC or a different CSU, but I don't understand why people consider SJSU bad. I know it depends on what your major is, but I hear that the engineering program there is starting to pick up and is doing well. If there are any SJSU graduates reading this, did you have any problems finding a career after graduating. It seems that people from SJSU would not be competitive against other applicants such as someone from a UC or a "better" CSU. I'm asking all this because I might be attending SJSU.
