I just woke up from a nap to find two small wet spots under my breasts. Is this normal at 27 weeks? What is the correct term for the fluid & can I expect this from now on??

Yep, its normal, yep you can expect this from time to time now and this is called colostrum. You are most likely to leak when you are asleep (especially if dreaming of the baby or of sex), during or after sex (oxytocin is released during breastplay and orgasm), and at seemingly random times when you have hormone surges. For the most part, it won't be all that much but for some women it is. If it is a problem for you, but some disposable nursing pads from the baby section at your store. Don't try to express the milk or pump the milk as it can cause some hardcore and painful contractions. Talk about it with your provider at your next appointment and be happy, it means you are entering the home stretch.

It's called breast milk LOL welcome to pregnancy.

The specific word you're looking for is colostrum... early breast milk.

Is it something you can expect from now on??? That varies from woman to woman. I leaked a bit here and there, but not all the time. I'm 40w 4d pregnant and leak only with stimulation now.

That will change when the baby is born probably.

This is so normal. Mine started at 20 weeks, around Christmas. It has slowed down now at 27 weeks, but i sill get small stains. Sometimes when my nipples gets aroused, the liquid increases. It's weird, but its part of pregnancy.
