I'd add "More Than A Feeling" by Boston, although it perhaps is not long enough to be considered epic? Hmmmm....
How about "The End" by The Doors? I would also add (not that I like the song but it DOES qualify) "Come Sail Away" by Styx and "Hotel California" by The Eagles (which I do like).
I WANTED TO ADD: "Nights In White Satin" by The Moody Blues, and "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull. I am kicking myself for forgetting them earlier.

Infinity. It has the single most epic introduction ever!!!
Stratovarius is the music artist. I recommend finding that song!
You should also look for artists that use symphonies/choirs. Those make songs incredibly epic! Such good bands are Rhapsody, Nightwish, Stratovarius, and S.S.H.
Ghost Love Score by Nightwish is also an INCREDIBLY epic song!

The two that immediately come to my mind are "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin and "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen.
