Why even make a alternative? As I'm definite you understand, bass is without difficulty the final four strings of a guitar...with the certain identical tuning. I do not know a unmarried bass participant who does now not additionally play the guitar. As others have mentioned...bass gamers are way more infrequent, so a woman together with your appears might be competent to command plenty extra gigs and probabilities with bigger bands, and the possibility to play with bigger musicians, to be able to most effective upgrade your capability. Guitar gamers are a dime a dozen. I will upload...so much do not forget it somewhat extra elaborate to sing and play bass. It's most of the time less complicated to strum a guitar chord and sing, then to play a sample of person notes on bass and sing while. Don't allow that discourage you...if you think about bass....don't overlook your making a song...if a woman, who appears as you do, can sing AND play bass, you would overcome the arena! LOL Hell, I could even kick my bass participant out of the band and rent you? Generally...the low finish Fenders are viewed very well manufacturers for the cash, however it is as much as person alternative.

Squier, Ibanez and Epiphone all make some good basses in the $200-300 price range.
