Recently Sen Obama downplayed his race in one of his talks, which are pretty fascinating, but then apparently black people took offense to that (since is is half white and half black, a some Muslim) so then he had to say that cab drivers know he is black, which I guess is a shot at cab drivers being reluctant to pick up blacks at night in big cities. Has he decided if he is going to be a neutral candidate, a black candidate, a race doesn't matter, or is he going to play the race card all the time? He is a Dem you, that means try to be all things to everyone and nothing to anyone.

Incidentally are we allowed to ask such a question in the time of political correctness or will someone accuse me of being in the Klan just because I asked?

Obama has his mind "half" made up...because he has a split personality, half black and half white as the moment dictates. He will certainly, and does, play the "race card" over the next few months. He says he will unite all Americans. I believe he will unite just half of them and that will never do.

I watched the 60 minutes interview and I think he seems secure within himself and that he doesn't seem to be concerned with race. I think he will represent everyone equally.
