Depends on the cichlids, but as a rule, no.
Most commonly available cichlids are african cichlids (malawis / mbunas, tanganyikans etc) - these are very aggressive and they will kill the frog. Also, they like very hard water, and frogs prefer soft water.
Also, most cichlids are just too big. Aside from the fact that they will eat an african dwarf frog (ADF), it means that the tank is too big. ADFs breathe air, so they have to swim to the surface whenever they want to breathe, and it is difficult for them in a tank that is much taller than 12".

That said, there are a few smaller, placid cichlids out there, such as bolivian rams and kribensis, and maybe apistogrammas.

Well the first thing you need to do is find out if you have an african dwarf frog(ADF) or an african clawed frog(ACF). ADF's are not too common(atleast in my area). There are many cichlids commonly sold. Africans are more colorful(Lab. Caeruleus,P.Socofoli,Kenyii,Peacocks,or even mixed african, etc). SA and CA cichlids include Oscars, Jack dempseys, Angelfish, Bolivian rams, Convicts, etc. An ADF might be able to live with small SA/CA(south american/central amer.), but not with any Africans. ACF can/will eat any fish they can fit in their mouths. Viceversa, there are many cichlids that will kill a small frog in minutes. When dealing with frogs(even aquatic frogs) its best to have a frog only tank.
