She's so phony! I can't stand watching her. You can tell every word out of her mouth is complete BS! She doesn't give a rats a** about anyone but herself but she sits there and tries to be the next Oprah or something.
Am I the only one that can see through her BS? Why is she so popular?

That's a loaded gun, the whole Tyra Banks thing.
I think she can be a hypocrite...i.e. Ranting about how women/girls should be themselves and like themselves even if they're a bit heavy and then turns around and makes most of her money off of ANTM.
On the other hand.
She's very involved in sisterhood, in making women more trusting to other women. She's an advocate for a dismissal of the predatory environment that many women live in. She has her own camp, does makeovers, and tries as hard as she can to work on girl's self-esteem.
But if she wants to be Oprah, she has a lot of work to do. I do admire all the doors she's opened for girls, but I'd like to see more career shows or something of that nature.
She's popular because she was a model and she created ANTM and she's considered personable and sincere.
If you don't like her so much...turn off the damn telly and read a book. That's what I do. No one makes you watch anything on the telly.

I have not as of yet watched her talk show but will now make a point of it to see what it's all about so I can form an opinion. Seems like everyone now has to have their own talk show for some reason. I do watch America's Next Top Model and never thought her phony. I enjoy watching that show but only watch it if I'm channel surfing and there it is.

I watch her show every now and then. I don't know - I think she has some good intentions. I sort of see what you mean, though, about trying to be the next Oprah. She has a good heart in my opinion.

She's popular because people like to feel that beuatiful supermodels are nice and sweet, its like hanging onto the dream of santa being real, come one people a nice, humanitraian, supermodel...what a joke!

Yes you are the only one seeing this. She all for the girl power revolution. You should try getting on the team sometime. I hear she is in the lead of haters and losers.

she's just trying to make money like everyone else so i don't see what the problem is, do you not like her bs because (a)she looks better than you, (b) has more money than you, (c) you hate her show but you just can't stop watchng, or (d) did you just not have anything else to do.

Cuz she be pretty. I think she pretty. I also think she's kinda BS-ish though. Like on Best Week Ever they were talking about her, and it's like she's like "I'm not fat but it's okay to be" know what I'm saying? Peace up from Chi-town stat I be seeing you latah.
