It's for a court case. They guy says he knows nothing about selling property, but his daughter says he once held a real estate license.

In my state real estate licensing in done by the Real Estate Board. They're in the phone book. If they don't know, I don't know who would.

Depends on the state the license is in. In California, it's all listed on the DRE (Department of Real Estate) website and it's a matter of public record.

Do a search for "real estate license" with your state and you should be able to find a page where you can put the person's name in and see what the status of their RE License is.
