this is a pretty good question
buts it also easy for me to answer the best player would be wade right now becaus ehe has already won a championship and is capable of taking over a game and putting it into his own hands like the series last year 3 down to the mavericks he has the killer instinct that lebron hasnt fully developed yet
then second would be lebron .......just has more talent and skills to work with will be the best in the end
finally melo he is a baby thug getting into slapping fights and hiding beind his teammates he scores alot but thats it he doesnt care if they win or not as long as he gets his he is not a multiple tool player like the other 2 guys him and a.i. are perfect toghether

Lebron, Carmelo, Wade. Lebron 's got more skills and athleticim than the other guys. Carmelo to me is'nt as tough as James. But his game is similar, but lebron can take it to teh rim more often easily, because of his stregth. wade is just a creative player, when he plays he doesn't look like a superstar to me, but he's still nice. But wade can't get a title by himself. But I think Lebron can.

Wade(first to win a championship),LeBron(best overall player but still needs a supporting cast), Carmelo(the addition of Iverson could move him up or keep him here, legal issues with the law do not help).

1. Lebron - the total package, crazy skills
2. Wade - he's great, but not #1 just because he won a championship, Wade also has a great team behind him, which Lebron doesn't have
3. Melo - he can score at will, but thats about it..

Rankings beginning from worst to best:
Wade (without Shaq he wouldn't have won the MVP and if he was that good he would've won the NCAA title)
Carmelo (underrated player. pretty much a scoring machine and super talented. he led syracuse to the NCAA title as a 19 year old freshman!)
Lebron (the most complete player of the 2. still has to improve on ball handling but a triple double threat every night).
