the dixie chicks album bombed...why did they win five grammies?

It bombed so bad they had to cancel tour dates. So why did they win five grammies. I think i know why, but i dont want to piss any Bush-haters off.

It didn't bomb. The sales figures are very good. The concert attendance is off, but the music just keeps on selling. Their most recent album is back up to number 2 on Amazon.com.
