this piano player teaches a young girl that sings at talent shows to sing way better, and she does really well. but the town hates him, and they eventually kill him while she is in a talent show i think. i think he also might have been able to cure a young boy, is he magic, maybe thats why they hate him? please help.

i remember at the beginning she was singing and the piano guy said she sang like a goat. i believe it was old but i think it might have been rigoletto! thanks a bunch!

Almost sounds like a movie I know called "Rigoletto"
