A Honda dealer may have some service history on it if you can't get the records from previous owner. If you don't know what has been done then do a tranny flush, PCV valve, new radiator coolant, check air filter, oil change every 3,000 miles, check cabin air filter and have a look at the plugs. Synthetic oil is great especially for cold temperatures since it flows better at start up but regular good quality oil is fine otherwise. You can get an owners manual on-line or from a dealer, good to have.

The best way to find your answer is to call your local (or any) Honda Dealer or even a machanic...They won't charge you if you have a simple question. I'm sure a local Wal-mart auto repair or any other auto stores will answer that question easily. Good luck! (It's a great van, we own a 2003 which has 120,000 highway miles already on it and still runs great!)
